i am posting this for my next door neighbor. he's a good guy - you can feel comfortable working a deal with him. this vehicle is located in TALENT, OREGON. it's on I5, 20 miles north of the California border.
he's got a '74 project blazer for sale, asking $500 but is very willing to negotiate. the rig doesn't have an engine, trans, or tcase but it does include the 12bolt rear and dana44 front, likely with 3.42 gears but not certain. it sits on a new 4" rough country lift. this does not include doors and it is lacking a windshield. the tailgate is a manual crank. the body rust is minimal and not structural - almost only surface rust. the pictures don't show it, but a front clip is included, as is a hardtop. it has the stock roll bar. the passenger and rear seats are in very good condition, while the driver's seat needs replaced/repair.
Tires/wheels are negotiable in the transaction, but i think he'd prefer if you brought some rollers for it.
he does have a 350 engine for it that, though it ran when pulled, he says it needs a rebuild. not sure what he'd want for the engine.
contact me, and i'll put you in touch with my friend.
PICS (sorry they're kinda crappy - his garage is a bit, ummm, full
):
windsheild frame is rust free:
rockers/rocker boxes are in pretty damn good shape. it appears that someone in a past life repair some rust on the floor and didn't paint it after the repair, thus the surface rust on the floor boards. the first pic is of the passenger side - which seems to be a little more rusty than the drivers side (the following 3 pics):
rear wheel wells do have rust. the drivers side has been repaired. all the rust is gone from that side, but the welds still need to be ground smooth and filled with body filler to make flat. this passenger rear wheel well rust:
seats. the rear seat is in similar condition to the passenger seat.
