75 blazer guzles gas

steppin down in motor size is def not the answer, my old 350 i got 6-7, my 496 i get 8-9 bwhahaha.

I get the picture now. Underpower and high gears = no fun. I'll keep the 4.10 gears, and the 35's. I'll bore the 400 .30 over, and add rings, bearings and seals, maybe a little head work. So what year and type of fi can I stick on my motor? Throttle body injection is'nt my preference, is mpi a option for me? /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

if you have tbi already, you can put a edelbrock mpfi conversion on it (what i did) or you can buy a whole FI kit, the conversion is cheaper, but you will have to convert your truck to tbi and pay the $$$ for that. Edelbrock makes the 2 diff kinds, conversion, standalone, holley also makes a standalone.

I went out and bought an 96 accord, /forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

I know I know! I watched some old dukes of hazards tapes, and did some burnouts in my car. Realised I sounded like a weenie! All that mpg talk, while driving a tank. Duh! So anyone have any sugestion about using the Buick 455/th400. Besides welding in mounts /forums/images/graemlins/grind.gif /forums/images/graemlins/weld.gif Thanks /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif
