'75 blazer with '98 6.5L ???????????

what would be the best method to get a mechanical speedometer to work with a np242 transfer case that came from a '98 H1? the 242 uses a VSS to transmit speedometer signal to the gauge cluster.

i was just wodering if anyone knows of a way to adapt a mechanical speedo cable to a late model transfercase?

or would i just be better off using some sort of aftermarket gauge that can use the VSS signal?

You can either go with an electronic speedo or go with a tachograph from here: about half way down the page called "cable x".
