I just got this 75 Chevy SWB 4x4 and it only has a saddle tank on the passenger side.

I already bought an OEM fuel tank switch for the dash.

Can I just add the fuel tank switching valve, some wiring, left 16 gal fuel tank with sending unit and straps, and either cut a hole in the left bed side for the filler neck, or find a stock bed side that already has the fuel tank neck hole in it? I'm sure someone else here has done this task, but this is my first square body Chevy pickup that only has one gas tank.

Yeah that sounds about right. I think the main thing youll want to watch is how many fuel lines your current setup has. I believe some had returns and some didnt.

I would look at the whole setup. Like in LMC Catalog has a lot of diagrams. Buy all the stuff need . Then make sure that your left tank is on the left. So you know which is which. Don't switch tanks while driving unless you can't stop right way. Because you might forgot to fill up both sides.

If you are up for a road trip, I have everything you need except a factory bedside.

Kenny,

I saw your profile on Facebook, but can't add you as a friend.

How far are you from Elma WA? My brother goes up there to his vacation house every couple of weeks.

I have two new tanks, straps, and brackets for sale if you need them, along with used filler neck and hose. But I dont have everything like Kenny lol
