so on a budget build I asked a lot of question regarding the dash cover for my 75 blazer but I’m realizing the rest of the dash is also thrashed....knobs broken, swithes missing, covers cracked , ya about whole area needs a facelift.

Anyone have some inexpensive options and what would be direct swap if I found some parting out another truck For a decent price.. not worried about seats ect yet just the front dash area ....

The big dash differences are air or no air, where the wiper switch is located and style of radio. There were a lot of different dash layouts but there is lots of pieces that can be swapped around. Look for older trucks and suburbans too for possible pieces. The late model stuff probably wont be much help for you, radio went to DIN size and wipers moved to the column.. Everything is available new but the price will run away pretty quick.

I'd hit the boneyards. Back where you live the bodies rot out but the interior trim parts usually don't get baked to dry and brittle status like the stuff out west where yours came from.

Check out the brochures from this site to see the differences in the dashboards between the years. http://www.73-87.com/7387info/7387info.htm

You are kinda stuck with going the early stuff as your headlight switch and wiper switch are on the dash. Going later requires a bunch of changes that will be high in effort.
