TX 75 Jimmy full vert

I ran across a green GMC jimmy today, I was in a rush and didn’t take any pictures but I did chat up the owner and he said it’s a 1975 and he wants $1,000. I didn’t see any visible rust but it’s been sitting for a while, it’s got the full convertible hard top, missing front windshield and hood and dash pad, interior is trashed and I’m worried about rust in the pan since it’s got a lot of debris in there from sitting under a tree. If anyone were seriously interested I can go back and get better info and give it a better look. The rear tailgate has a small tear in the upper left corner and what looked to be factory green paint is in good shape and the rear window is either down or missing as well also missing factory wheels.

I would love to swap my tub for a rust free one please take a good look if u can with pics

This one is far from rust free, bed looks nice inside and underneath has surface rust but sounds solid however interior front I didn’t try lowering the tailgate.

I think this one will need more saving than I originally thought. Today when I went buy they asked me to make and offer and I told them $300, they said that wouldn’t go so I left a number at their request, we’ll see if I get a call back. It does have a transfer case and transmission along with two axles, I’m guessing you could part it for $500 right? They did say they have a clear title so maybe it’s worth it to someone to not part?

It looks as bad as mine so not much of an upgrade but because my rocker boxes are rusted out I need that roll bar..
Man if I could get that cheap it would help me out a lot since the stock body roll bar will help support where the rocker boxes did before rusting out....I’d owe someone big if they got it to me lol...

I think you or someone got the truck and pieced it out to help others there would def be money in it with top and windshield for downright for newer model convert swap as well as other parts probably make pretty gd money I’d jump on it if I didn’t have to pay shipping no questions asked...
