Alright. So.. I have some 6 inch springs waiting to get put on when i get my diy shackle flip in the mail. Im also putting a zero rate in the front with .5 inch longer shackles from ord. On top of that id like to run the ford shock towers on this truck, unless anyone thinks that a bad idea due to the barely flexable skyjacker springs.

anyways. summed up, i need to know/how to find out/ what length shocks i need with 7-8 inch lift and ford shock towers. Help a suspension newb out!

edit: the shocks would be either the bilsteins with the attached reservoir or some procomp 9000's

Sounds like you know what shocks you want. So, do the front springs and shackle flip then measure. Find length collapsed and extended length when you your all done. Only you can make it fit your truck.Everyones truck is different so you can't really compare to others.
Good luck. Post pics.

If you are installing the ford towers, choose by travel. I have about 7" of lift and went with Bilstein 5125's. They have 12" travel, I will mount my towers accordingly. If you go to the Bilstein site, they have application guides. My info came from ORD. Steve was quite helpful explaining my choices to me.

You don't really need towers with that much lift
