Same here, I'd have expected more out of such a milestone. Maybe GM is holding out for the 100 year Suburban:rolleyes:

they'll never last that long

So it gets an emblem on the steering wheel, and a non descript color?

I better rush out before they're gone!

Any of you guys remember the 100 anniversary Harley Davidson. It was a few years back 2003 or so. At first they were kind of cool, but HD absolutely over-saturated the market with them. Every other bike was grey over black with the 100years badge and striping. They became a bit of a joke (no offense if anyone here has one) as buyers were duped into thinking that they would have "collector value"!
This looks to be going down the same path. GM has an oportunity to create a vehicle w/ a little something extra but all they will do is add a badge and a higher price tag. They should be looking for at a 75 year anniversary SS version w/ upgraded power and brakes etc. They should really make something special that will comand a higher value.

Now don't get me started on the Ford - Harley Davidson edision... WTF???

I reckin obama motors just ain't into the performance thing anymore....:haha:

or 91.

I like the 07+ ones though, for dd use. They are comfy:D

I said the "good" ones. '91-prior were the "fantastic" ones:D

Yeah, the new ones are comfy, but so are minivans. Suburbans are truck based, but there is NOTHING truck-like about them anymore. Even the trucks barely qualify.

Oh, and my biggest complaint about the new ones (and most GM vehicles now)... option packages SUCK:mad:

That's true of all vehicles these days. I can still remember when you went to order a car, you sat down with the salesman and check boxes of each individual option you wanted. Sure there were option packages back then, you could pick a package and delete anything in that package.
