I am looking for a rust free roof panel for my blazer. My current roof panel has rusted out on the passenger side just above the b pillar and where the top meets the back of the cab. Been looking locally here in Texas so far not much luck due to rust or already been cut off.

This situation would be perfect opportunity to convert to 73-75 full convertible. Just saying

Put it in the back of a C 17 transport ... Or a quick trip on a Skymax

Winner! ^^^ I read somewhere that LOC or AMD or both were now selling 73-75 reproduction windshield frame pieces.

@bigred81 - unless things have changed recently @CT-BLAZER is selling a full tub project, not a roof.

I’d like to know if the new panel is good for the full top conversion. I’ve been looking for a doner windshield frame. To the OP, I have two rust free tops. Reno nv. Not sure if that helps ya.

I thought about doing a 73-75 conversion but I just patching a few bad spots. The rest of the body is in excellent shape.

Anyway to see what shipping would cost?

I guess it depends on how much of the roof I would need ship. Let me check into it a couple different ways

It is rusted pretty bad between the top and back of cab which is why it rusted out there water was getting into that section of the roof

Looks like the water traveled upon the windshield posts into the roof.... The more you probe...... won't be any better

This one has one very small spot that needs a fix. But solid with no rust anywhere else.

That is exactly what I have been looking for to repair my roof because I do not know what else is hidden behind the fiberglass top and when I start digging into it deeper.

I’d say yours is probably shot where it meets up with the cap. Pull it and see. In the meantime this one is here in Reno, NV. I’ll be sitting on it for a bit I’m sure.

I just posted the same issue on my 79. LMC trucks sells an inner and outer roof skin for the C10 pickups for these years. I was wondering if they could be modified somehow to work. They are about 300 bucks. What do you guys think?
