Rebuilding a 76 GMC 3/4 ton truck that had a front collision. How is the quality and fit of LMC parts such as fender panel, inner fender, hood and radiator / grill panel?

none are perfect... most will be subtle aligning issues.... the steel is a bit thinner.... i've heard quite a few rot complaints on the support.... i've hung a bunch of the fenders... quality is "eh" but it works....

i bought a pretty good front OEM clip for $200....

I have an LMC on one side and OEM on the other. OEM is solid and fits well, The LMC is super thin and if you tap it it sounds like an alum can. Go the the junk yard and get OEM stuff. It will fit better be solid.

Look for an OEM set of fenders. You will be much happier in the long run. A little body work to clean up the used fenders will be easier than the alignment issues that I have seen and heard about.

I bought some LMC panels for the '63 C10 I am working on. Was not happy with the thickness at all and wound up selling them (at a loss of course) and buying some used panels without as much rust as mine to recondition. Installing the patch panels and cleaning up the rest was a much better option for me.
