76 frame 82 body trazer need front bumper

I'm in the process of trying to get a front bumper on my trazer, it's a 76 k5 frame with an 82 c10 body and I believe 3 inch body lift pucks... I'm trying to figure out before I go through the time and investment of finding a bumper on what will work, I was thinking of finding mounting brackets for the 76 frame but will the holes line up with the newer style bumpers? That I'm unable to tell... I've been told the 76 bumpers are too narrow for the 82 fenders and dunno if there's truth to this...The other part of it is the lift pucks are ugly and don't know how much of it will be visible if I do figure out how to mount an original front bumper... Any help is appreciated in advance and any pics that support what I'm trying to accomplish is even better!!!

Bumper and bracket has to match the frame unless you want to modify to fit.
I will check about the width, I have a 74 and an 84 so I can compare
