What would you all recommend for a hydroboost conversion? 4 wheel disc on 42's. Brands, OEM compatibility. I am currently running PSC assist and will it all tie in correctly?

Best bet is GM hydro boost and whatever kit you like for rear discs. Several guys on here using the PSC with that

Check out some of our vendors in the vendor forum for disc kits

use the rpo jb8 from 1994 ish P30 for brake parts, master cylinder hydro boost. rotors and calipers not so much ten lug :( but if you can mount the caliper on a 8 lug well..... big pads :)

Definitely go with common factory parts. My '90 K5 with the 6.2 diesel was factory hydroboost (well, pretty much all diesels are hydroboost...). Everything is stock with a 1.5" hydro assist cylinder and works great 95% of the time. Only issue is that if the engine is at idle and you are on the brakes hard, the steering gets sluggish. For example, if you are cruising down the road at 50 mph and have to hit the brakes hard to slow down to turn on a road that you almost missed, the steering is sluggish because the brakes are taking all of the flow and pressure from the pump. Normal driving or off-road I've never had a problem, only a few times on the road.

iirc there is a mod you can do to the stock pump for more flow, or something like that. Found it when I was looking through the hydro steering threads on here.

I don't thinkGM hydroboost likes that pump mod.
My setup includes a GM hydroboost system...pedal assy, and boost unit from a 82 diesel blazer. Stock D60 brakes up front, I use DIY4X rear brake kit, and their assist cylinder. Then I added a 78K30 mastercylinder, but needed to make a custom length pushrod between the mc and boost unit.
I setup my pump/hydroboost lines to mimic my 99-2500. I also added an adjustable proportioning valve to the rear for fine tuning. Works really well.
