'76 k5 mid life crisis

just got back from the frame shop. they told me to drive it, but fix the u-bolt issue and see what happens. he said possibly the old rancho spring is twisted. he also said that he couldnt see any signs of frame dammage. he also told me if i really wanted to i could heat up the front mount and try and bend it up.

update time.

i updated my windshield washer sprayer to one i found out of an 88 in the bone yard, went with new wiper arms off the 88 also.

so in december i got the new rims finnished and put on. the monday befor christmas i had one come loose on me. broke a couple studs and now something is not quite right with my fron end.

i noticed a while back my brake master was leaking from the rear. saturday jan 4 i ordered my extended braided ord line, and couldnt be happier, they got here on monday. now im just waiting for the new bolt in axle shims i ordered and hopefully later this week i can get at it.

im going to have my dads garage a couple days so im going to do a full brake job everything but the steel lines, and while im in their thats when im replacing the wheel studs and everything else i might have broke.

when i put it all back to gether im going to leave out the sway bar and see how i like it, now that my brake lines wont be my axle drop stop. it seems to me that without it, it would not be as stiff in town on the crap city roads.
