76 K5:My Slow Build

I been at this since I joined this site. I did a build thread on another site so I figure its about time I brought it over here, since I been around more. So here is how it looked when I started.

When I started I just wanted to clean the compartment up.

Now here is where I started scrubing and degreasing. Broke out the wire wheel to help out.

After a clean coat of POR 15 its starting to look good...

This Por 15 goes along ways so I took it onto the frame...

I liked the way it looked I took it all the way under and back.

and of course spending alot time under there you tend to notice more projects that need to get fixed..

Fairly clean one to start with. My favorite front end Chevy ever offered. And all builds are slow, Im on year 8 or so and its still not what I want.

And off to spend more money that I dont have...

I felt they went in ok till i got to the rear four mounts.Those were a Pain.

O but in the between time I decided to tear out the interior to see whats under there...

Ouch,But I seen worse in other builds and know its fixable

I need to switch out the starter to a mini. Just not enough clearance.

I just notice, its been a year since I joined this forum and well thats what I been up too. Just this last week I got my radiator in. I went with a Northern it was a bit taller and the shorter in length.

This radiator is stout. Its a 2 row but with 1 inch rows. Number 209677.
I paid less than 130.oo for it and figure I can make some modifications to make it fit...
