Hi guys
I bought some 77 blazer seats for
My 73 and the passenger seat latch striker is a different style. Where would I get a 77 style striker from I can’t even find a photo of one. The 73 have a large pin that goes into a bracket with a hole in the floor. The 77 one I have has a large hook thing on it.

Ps I’m from Australia so no junk yard blazers to pick though here.

What's your time line for this? I can get some pics of mine but it could be a few days before I can.

The more I think about it, mine has a hole/pin type. I'll still get some pics.

No real time line I’m just starting a full rebuild so could be years. Haha
Thanks mate some pics would be great.
I have the original 73 style seat brackets so I could change them out but thought it would be easier just to get a new striker

The hook style striker is inset into the floor pan. You would have to cut a hole in the floor pan and weld in the striker cup.

It be easier to swap the 73 seat brackets

Motor city k5 sells new 68-75 pin style striker/brackets

Just looking at my seat brackets they’re not complete and I don’t have the 73 striker anyway. Would you have a picture of the hook style striker by any chance. I’ll make one up and weld it in.
Thanks

Both my '77's were the pin type of striker. That bracket in the picture is for '78-up, so that might help out your search.

The stryker is towards the front. There is a plastic piece that keeps things( toes), out of the latch towards the back
