You call, I haul. Guaranteed I won't break much.Haha, Zoo's delivery service...
I knew you were going to say that! After our phone call I really tried to find what I thought was a suitable place under the hood. I am a small enough guy that once I get my old body in there I can actually sit on the inner fender but with two batteries, ac, and the future ecm I really felt things were getting tight.I'm curious to know how loud the twin is under the front seat.]

I only asked because I've heard Larry's twin running. Plus my Smittybuilt compressor under the hood of mine rattles the floor.I knew you were going to say that! The compressor is kinda loud and I admit I do not have any experience with the cycling when it comes to keeping the locker engaged. I did figure that while airing up tires you are out of the vehicle anyway so the noise would be less bothersome. As a side note I will say any girl that is sitting in the passenger seat that can put up with noise will probably have a kinda funny smile on her face.![]()
Yikes. I know Larry's setup has a small separate manifold just for the air lockers to pull from so the compressor would not have to work as hard to keep at pressure. His air tank is fed off of that manifold. I don't think his cycles much when the locker is on. But I don't have an arb so I don't have direct experience.Ron's gonna poop-a-little-poop the first time that thing cycles on the trail

Umm wouldn't it be the other way around? His air tank is fed off of that manifold
Not from what I saw on Larry's or the install instructions.Umm wouldn't it be the other way around?
I know right? Who needs instructions? But it don't mean you have to use the manifold kit. The solenoid can be in an air tank like you have it. The better your setup holds air without leaking I think the less the system will cycle.Instructions?? I was supposed to read the instructions?! I kid, I did read that section but because I was using an air tank I was able to put the locker solenoid directly in the tank. You can see it on the far right in the last pic in post # 138.
Spot on dude. Spot on.

Well, it is trueHey it's ok. Larry deals in rear ends. He likes to clean them inside and out. He gives them a good reaming down the tubes. His rear ends take a licking and keep on ticking. Or they puke axle fluid when they get all hot and excited.
Sorry man you can't leave the door open that wide.![]()
. I did have one 14 bolt with a premature ejaculation problem where it liked to squirt oil out the vent tube after a few hours on the highway. Replaced that one with a G-van housing and haven’t had a problem since. I still think that one was just a stack up of tolerances between 4:56 think gear set, Detroit locker, heavy truck and 80 MPH road speeds didn’t work well as a team. The G-van 14 bolt with an ARB has been just fine flying down the Interstate without getting overly excited
