I replaced all the injectors in the 90 a few years back. I ran the numbers on rock auto and then went to eBay with delphi numbers and got a smokin deal. They came in card board boxes, 2 per box like they were sold in bulk.In an attempt to cure some driveability issues and prolonged hot starting time the Crawlabago is getting a new fuel pressure regulator and all new injectors.

Not really sure, kinda seems like original problem is worse. It started up and seemed to run ok but SES light came on and it never did before. I made it about 1/2 block on the test drive, it died and I could not get it to restart. My son has my scanner so no codes read yet. Still only has 50 psi fuel pressure.Well suck. Didn't fix the problem and added another?
I'm starting to lean that direction also. Gonna see what I can figure out tomorrow. Today still was not a total wash as it needed injectors regardless and the old pressure regulator was full of crap. Also I had never did injectors on an L29 so it was a good learning experience.Tank or pump issue?

Longer then book time I'm sure. About 4 1/2 hours. How long to change the injectors?
One more thing I suggest you try, I have been battling with a L31 with misfire, bad idle and no start issues and I finally gave up and changed the only thing I hadn't, the ecm, and it was cured.I'm starting to lean that direction also. So I pulled tank and pump yesterday. The only visible problem I found was the baffle was loose/broken from the hold downs. It lifts enough where the pump MIGHT be sucking it up against the strainer and causing a restriction. I ordered up a new tank, pump and pickup assembly from Amazon but most parts are a week out.
I just keep remembering my dads mantra when we were building street rods.

We had to do a trail repair for this issue at BB15 on the middle of Gold Bar Rim in 95+ heat of the day. So at least you caught it at home.So I pulled tank and pump yesterday. And I believe that you were the one to tell me about checking the neck for cracks as soon as I received mine. (shipping damage)FWIW I just ordered a tank from rockauto and I had it in three days, shipped from so cal. Also, the new spectra tanks have a much taller baffle, about 3” tall.
