Talked to the seller a short time ago, it's serial #0896 built in 12/76. Been sitting in one place more or less for 15 years. He admits it was probably repainted despite his ad noting it came from the factory in this color...

Since there is incomplete info on the Chinook side of this operation, it is conceivable that it could have come this way from the factory, but so far, I've only seen only four color combos for the '77 Chevys so far (this one potentially being a 5th if it is an original yellow/tan instead of a repainted one that was originally all-tan).

Call me a crusader for accuracy on deeply unimportant historical stuff. :D
