I'm selling my house and moving far away and need this truck gone ASAP. Thought I non-oped it back in '98-ish but according to the DMV that didn't happen so the registration fees are probably over $1k by now (I'll have to see exactly how much). It's been garage kept since '98 when I went to do an engine swap - only removed the engine, never reinstalled it. Interior needs replacing. Body is in very good and straight condition with the exception of the rearmost corner of the bed on the driver's side which someone clipped. Frame is cracked at steering box. This would be a good candidate to turn into an off-road only truck or use for parts because of the registration back fees. I'll try to post some pics when I get a chance.

Specs:
Original brown and tan paint in excellent condition - The Fall Guy color scheme.
SM465/NP205
D44 front (unknown gears)
10 bolt or 12 bolt rear (unknown gears) - haven't decided which axle I'll put under it, but both need repair
Push bar with KC highlights
Smittybilt rear tube bumper
4 inch lift - unknown manufacture, done by PO

I can include a new (i.e. never been run) engine that's also been bagged and garage kept since '98 for $200 - comes with engine stand.

Someone please come get this and put it to good use. Don't make me weep when I call a wrecker and see yet another square body go to the crusher and get reincarnated as a Kia. Not willing to part any of it out - all or nothing. If you want the SM465/NP205 to sell and make a few bucks then you must take it all. Don't have the time to deal with that.

EDIT: Ok, the engine for free also. I would toss in $20 bucks too but then technically it wouldn't be free so I couldn't list it here and there isn't a section for that kind of a deal.

Forgive the 15 yrs of dust. Don't want to wipe it off and scratch anything.
Hood can sort of be seen in passenger side pic - it's in excellent condition.

If you brought the truck out of state would you just never have to pay the fee's? Or does the person that gets it have to pay the fees to get you all cleared up?

First, I'm not paying any fees - that's the responsibility whomever wants it. If they want to make it streetable again then they'd have to pony up, otherwise just make it an offroad only vehicle. I'm sure if someone in another state wanted it then CA would want to get their money. Second, I'm not bringing it anywhere. I don't have the time or means to do that.

I know you want it ... since you're subscribed and all. :thumb:

My understanding is that you can bring it out of State and register it with no issue as long as the title is good. It's common to take a car with CA back reg fees and bring it to another state, keep it registered for a couple years there and then bring it back to CA without any fees.

My heart breaks at this... I'd love another square body. 2800 miles is a bit far for me to hook up the trailer and run out.

What motor does/did it have? OMG I want it, but the wife would kill me.... Maybe I could buy her another diamond...
