77-up panels on 73-76 doors

ok my stepdad cannot for the life of him find a good shape driver side 77-87 front pickup door, we have been looking for a long time, none exist anymore, is there a way to make a 77-up door panel and such work on a 73-76 door ?

i dont think its possible since the door panel area before 77 is alot smaller and such

where the hell are all the good driver side 77-up doors all of a sudden ??
this is the only body part he is lacking for this entire 82 k-10 body off resto

used ot be billions of them, i cant even count how many ive seen go to shredder, and now when one is needed, poof all gone, nothing

and no he will not buy a new one, he wants a factory GM one,

I think the doors are the same . . . I was looking at a 74 and a 78 yesterday and the panels (smaller and larger) will interchange . . . they just don't go up as high on the top side part of the door.
