I don't think you need to be picky about the '78-79 model years though for your application? If you plan to build custom spring hangers anyway...

They fit best and don't have the chance of the tires rubbing on the springs like the 85'+ ones do.

I have a Dana 60 with driver side drop (1979 Ford). The housing was stripped/shot blasted/painted, new Richmond 4.56 ring and pinion (open carrier), new bearings and seals, original inner axles and GM outer axles/spindles/hubs/knuckles, new calipers, rotors and Warn premium hubs. The tie rod is 1.25" DOM with new ends. I am asking $1800 but do not have a way to package this for shipment. I am located in Tucson.
