does anyone have any pics of a stock roll bar for a 78 and up blazer?

i cant find any stock ones so i figured i would build a stock looking one.

I'm not aware of a stock *front* one for the half-cab trucks.

The *rear* one is good for 73-91, and looks like this:

Thanks to K5Nutt for these pix ;)

thanks if i remember correctly the front ones were made. or just a pic of a front roll bar will do off of a 73 and up, because the only difference is the main hoop will be a little longer

Tell me how to post it on here so you can see it dude. :D I did not know you had to be a paying member to see pics too. Sorry

Me neither, wasn't the front roll bar integral?

i think it was. i remember seeing one once i have no idea if it was stock or not, looked stocked though, i just didnt have any cash at the time.

i am looking that rear on seems pretty simple to build.

even if someone has a pic of a front roll bar they built that just bolts in that would help give me some ideas

Smittybuilt made one, maybe they still do. Search on either peterson's 4wheel or fourwheeler's website, they had a detailed write up with lots of pics about putting one in a k5

that looks just like the one i have on the rear of mine (except i sprayed mine with bedliner). it makes it a bit tougher to take the top off, but it really helps control body flex offroad.seems like we k5 guys could use a rollbar from a pickup for the front, with slight modifications. i don't know the exact differences in the height of the blazer floor and distance from rear axle to back of cab between pickups and k5s.
