Ok so every now and then I get the hankerin to put the truck up for sale. Wife said if i want a new camera truck has to go.. well then here it is..

so I will take a trade... my trade is simple..
Canon 1dx dslr in almost new condition AND a 70-200 f2.8 IS mark ii lens AND a Sigma 50-500 lens. You find me all 3 of them and ill trade ya... :whistle:

I have a lot into the truck and I know you dont get your money back. I figure I have 12-15k into it... yeah dont look it i know..

reduced price on CL...

but if you want a truck that doesnt need really anything (literally doesnt need anything if you "obtain" an inspection sticker)... just drove it out the other day...

price updated

I will sell it for $8000 with winch and every part I have in the garage.. many parts, wires, connectors, etc....

$7000 takes it less winch and stuff for the winch.
 
kid came to check it out. Before he did I had to adjust it as it was all set for a trial back at emissions testing so it was all booger-ed up. Wow she woke up.. running great...
the kid loved it and so did the 3 other guys that came with him. 1 guy is a mechanic and as I started pointing things out the other guy was smiling the entire time. he noticed more parts than I was saying so that was nice....

I went to let him take it for a run (with me in the passenger side of course) and he said.. I cant drive a stick.. I looked at him and said.. yeah yet...

I will refuse to sell it to him if he tells me he is going to convert it!!!! :haha:

but on the serious note.. he said... he needs 2-3 days to come up with the cash. If he doesnt.. im selling off the holley truck avenger to a member here and putting a qjet on it for emissions and going to go that route.

I took the truck out later to go pickup my son from soccer.. man I forgot how much I love this truck... just shame I want to buy a $6k camera body... (canon 1dx) :popcorn:

I pulled out of the development and hammered it (not in granny gear) and the rear end kicked out due to the lockers and he is like.. woah your spinning 40's!!!!!! I never thought of that as a big deal as I can drop the clutch and spin them away....

told him I built the truck to keep not to flip and sell.. I built it to be driven to the trails and drive home... 1tons/detroits/gears/stick/crossover steer and everything else.....

kinda hope he backs out.. I dont NEED a new camera.... but tired of wife complaining about paying insurance/registration and it just sits.... :doah:
 
oh yeah.. funny.. with hood up.. he is in the front looking in.. he lifts his arms up and pats down and pats the truck a couple of times... and says... ok so what are we looking at here...
I looked at him and said.. easy.. it is up for $7k without winch and $8k with and every part in the garage. so that is the price. He does the pat thing again and says it again.. I look at him and say.
"Im not getting divorced, not moving, not like I dont have a place it cant sit so the price stands or it will sit till my kids get it when they drive"

in all honesty... i even told him i will txt him when i find more parts... if he has any questions on parts or anything call me or come over.. im not here to screw him over... he is taking a piece of my life and since he is a kid.. 20-22 im guessing... i want him safe too...
 
I don't know how you could get rid of something that you've had so long. Also selling it to a kid that can't even drive a stick!

Good luck in whatever happens. I've sold some things I deeply regret.
 
Regret i will... i doibt he will buy it. Under that statement ill get this holley off it and put a qjet on. Get through inspection and drive on weekends....

Kid didnt buy it... member here bought carb.. need to get it off and shipped. Qjet gonna go on it and drive it every weekend
 
this sucks...cmy luck as italways works...

crockett13 bought my truck avenger... couple of days ago and it is out for delivery....

then i have been chatting with a guy.. older guy compared to the kid that was looking at it... end result... will see...

Your not bothering me. Just don't sell it I have the cash and I will come buy it this week. Obviously after you get the carb. Trust me I will send pics t o you over time. It won't be sitting. My buddies are certified ASE techs and we take care of ****. She'll be in great hands and used for what she was intended
 
All that talk don't mean doodle squat, tell me when you want it and I'll have it ready. Show the cash
 
Know the feeling, had my 74 for 27 years. Couldn't sell it.
Sell it for the right reasons, your the one who put the time and work into it.

I trailered mined from south Fla to Tn 17 years ago and broke the trailer tongue 100 miles from destination. Pucker factor high light was on.
Couldn't leave it behind, had it before I met my wife and I'll have till I can't drive it any more.
 
Truck for sale still
$5500 takes it....

However if I don't sell it... I'm thinkin propane... right now I don't drive it cuz I can't get it to pass inspection even with a qjet now...

Wife is one of those... if it ain't done legit u ain't driving it... so it sits..

I'm seeing $900 and go propane with all new parts.. then it will pass emissions...

But that won't be until March/April....
