'78 K20 - RootBreaker from 1990 - nov 2025 8.1L not runnin

started putting them on.. 15 minutes in this heat and I was drenched... so that is all I did.. just the front clip mounts. One came off and separated easily, other one needed my dremel!!!!

wow just finished cab. new mounts and bl in... just need to crank bolts down. just snug for now.





and this is how it was done.. 2x12 and hi lift

got it all done. front clip mounts squished good... front cab kinda ok.. rear cab im not liking.

i may remove washer and use 80s style bottom... bigger and may hold better... whatcha think?

took it for a run and it felt wishy...woshy...like cab was floating...

so i went ahead and just put 3 of these in. could crank down way more and feel bertter that the bottom wasnt gonna pop over the washer... didmt take it out yet...

moon visor now has led lights...cleaned and black... all ready to crimp wires and install...







the lights are where i want them.. up down is a bit off.. drillbit walked but i like it...

10y ago i painted my truck with rustoleum ford blue tractor paint from tractor supply. it was great. not 100% but $50 and good enough . paint and hardener.

well i went back and the paint is $43.. no biggie.. paint is getting faded and chalky..
but they are out of it and i think switching brands to Majic...
so bought it..hardener and rollers..brush etc.

rolled truck and man does it look like crap.
like a bad rhino job.. it went on thick so there are some runs. its a woods truck so i kinda dont care but i do. oh well..
still putting truck back together and painting things black like rain guards...grill trim...headlight and tail light chrome pieces...

so $80 in...

sell me those hawgs and ill sell him my 40in hawgs!!!!!!

I'm hoping in 2y to be on 44 boggers.. hence the 3" body lift... I didn't want to go above my 6" suspension as it is very flexy and I hear 8" and up are stiff.. when I had 12" leafs (didn't get to drive it on the road)... it as very stiff around the yard!!!

yeah clean lookin but passenger door is like running your hand over an angry session of brail!!!!!!
