Hey guys, I no longer have time for toys and have to get rid of my 78 k5 that was purchased new by my grandfather in 1978. it is really hard to let go of it but I want it to go to someone who will use it.It has a lot of modifications and a lot of time and money have been spent on this truck.

-383 stroker with full exhaust and long tube headers
-Rv cam and roller rocker arms
-010 high nickel block
-forged h beam rods
-port matched heads and edelbrock intake with 202 valves
-brand new battery (1 month old)
-10.5:1 flat top pistons (high compression 91 octane only)
-Fitech go efi fuel injection setup with fuel commend center, full msd ignition system with billet distributor(3k purchased 6 months ago still under warranty)
-Original a/c still working with r12 (colder than your car now guaranteed)
-brand new 4 row aluminum racing radiator
-Crossover steering with Reid racing knuckle and brand new steering box with welded and bolt on frame brace
-12 inch lift all suspension (had to have some parts custom made)
-freshly rebuilt transmission (th350) and transfer case
-4:56 gears
-brand new 38.5 inch (less than 500 miles) maxxis creepy crawler tires with new offset black rims (the tires were 3k alone)
-new hood hinges with replacement hood (this hood has a small kink)
-custom cv drive shafts (no wobble even at 80 mph)

This truck hauls ass considering its weight and tire size. that motor was built less than 1000 miles ago by a machine shop in denver with two purposes in mind, power, and reliability.

Whats wrong with it
-currently starts and runs but will not drive. Car backfires under load. I checked all rocker arms/valves I believe either the distributor broke or it has something to do with the new Fitech system. I can assure you the motor is 100% whatever is wrong has to do with the ignition system with is all under warranty. I simply don't have the time to deal with it. if it was running I would be charging a lot more. I don't need the money so don't bother with low ball offers. call or text any time 720-409-6161

Good looking truck. What size wheels are the tires on? I assume you had it running carberated before the FI tech system, and that's how you know the motor runs strong? Did the backfire under load only occur after you installed the FI tech system? Any rust on it? Thanks.
