While running through the brakes on this Blazer I picked up I noticed one side was missing the parking brake cable. So got new cables an replaced them no issue there, but when I run them as it was previously or at least how it appears it was, the equalizer bolt(clamp) that connects to the intermediate cable rests right under and against the exhaust. Is this correct? Seen a few pics online havent noticed anyone else mention this. The diagrams from LMC dont show the exhaust so thats not much help. Other than the exhaust issue it appears to match those diagrams. I can see why the driver side cable was missing if it runs like this for too long,I would thing the heat would weaken the cable and cause failure. Anybody run into this or am I missing something.
