Is this a possible swap with some mount fabbing? If so what are the differences in the mounting brackets and such.

i have cobbled what you are trying to do, only the opposite. the only difference is the height of the radiators. IIRC you will be getting a smaller radiator. i beleive the 80 and up are slightly taller. as long as you have the correct radiator bracket that mounts to the radiator support you should have no problems. you may have to take out the grille and run bolts with nuts on them through the radiator support. the stock setup has nuts tacked in place in the correct locations.

OK cool it's not a stock radiator thats in it. The one from the 78 we want to swap in is bigger and a 4 core /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Think we are gonna try this tonight so we'll see /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

Well i guess it all went in good and fits fine. The radiator support dosen't leak anymore either... /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif
