I am going to make some sort of seat lift using either wood or Metal over the weekend. I will be raising the seats in the front about 1-1.5 inches. I will need longer bolts and was hoping someone could tell me the thread pattern and type of bolt I need. I want to use the existing holes as they ere engeniered to hold the seat correctly.

They are 3/8-16. I'd go w/ grade 8. But I use it one everything anyway. Overkill is my friend. :D

Thanks Man, I assume I can get these at any hardware store?
Yup. If you are going to raise the seat 1.5" , go with 3/8-16 x 2" long bolts. That should work just fine for you.
