Posting for my boss. His kid bought this truck for $1600 and has put about $800 into it trying to figure out the motor and tranny. The previous owner swapped in the 454 and 400, so we don't know much about it. The motor runs great (new fuel pump, filter, new starter and alternator, headers and dual exhaust. The tranny wont shift into gear, but the linkage all the way to the tranny works fine, so it's something internal? Brand new 32x11.50 tires, new wagon wheels. I figure a mechanically inclined feller could get this thing on the road for next to nothing, or take the motor and tranny, sell the tires and wheels, etc. He's asking for $1800, but would probably take the first semi-reasonable offer.
