"781" Heads

I'm looking to pick up a set of "781" heads for my bigblock build. I'd like em to be in as good a shape as possible, though I probably am going to be rebuilding them anyway.

I have a set on a running 454, real clean under the v/c. But I think a buddy has a set, lemme find out and I'll get back with yah....

Thanks. I really don't have a whole lot to throw at heads. I just saw a pretty nice looking set go on ebay for 90 bucks. being in Iraq right now I don't really have a chance to just run down to the u-pull-it and look for em so I've got no idea what they'll go for. I'll be waiting to see what your friends got.

781 heads for $90??? I would snag them in a heartbeat!! I'll go talk to him and see what they are. Gaurantee it won't be $100, not even for bare heads....

Get them shipped somewhere in the states?? By kinda stupid to get them shipped there, only to have the US government possible loose them during your transfer. Ask me how I know??? Idiots "lost" $2k worth of Yamaha home stereo stuff.....

He was one of those guys who had his shipping set at a hundred bucks. I even asked him about it and he wouldn't budge. I guess he was trying to make money wherever he could.

have you ever priced out shipping on 1 full assembled big block head castiron style. thay are just under 90 lbs each head. and fuel prices 100 shounds good.
