well made some good progress on my buddys burb, picked up a d60 from a 89 3500 truck and the back of the cab yesterday. and today got the roof cut off behind the 4th doors and and took 25 inches out behind the wheel. tomarrow it will have the back of a cab welded in on a slight angle and a midwall as well. and by the end of the week should have a 10 inch lift and 38 inch tires and a d60 in the front with a crossover steering.
hers some starter pics.

i started one like that

i moved the tail gate and window frame from the back and put it behind the rear seat it took alot of test fitting and cutting i could roll the window down then pull the tail gate out i ended up scraping it do to no room to keep it

it looked pretty cool

gah i still want to do this so badly.

That may be my next project so i may need some assistance:D

i really wanna see how this build turns out b/c its a great concept, just wanna see it when its all finished.

ive thought about something like ths for quite a while, even to having custom side glass done and bobbing the rear (with the doors) so the doors are still usable. just have a shorter back, or just cut the top, bob the rear and keep the barn doors as the tailgate, and building a roll cage and a soft top.

i just picked up a 91 with 6 inches of lift and 36 inch swampers

when my burb gets to the point were I can chop it up I'm just going to do this.... with a full cage of course..

I like it, but I think I'd just use a crewcab. Then you still have an enclosed passenger area separate from a "cargo" or whatever area. But if I already had a burb, I'd prolly do that. I think the ideal would be to chop/morph a burb/blazer so a Blazer top would fit back there.
