"79 Blazer street rod project begins..

Hey all!! Just joined after a buddy sent me a great link from here about a full removable top conversion for my '79. That is one mod I will be doing to my K blazer. I'm starting from the frame up, and I'll be adding an IFS, but I'm not sure from which manufacturer, or even may try a C4 Corvette graft. Has anyone done one? I'm also going 4 link rear, and late LS motor. Any comments? Thanks!!

About the only thing you'll have in common with the guys around here is the Blazer body itself.

Not necessarily a bad thing, but it's unlikely that you'll get much help with suspension-related questions around here.

That's certainly a build of a different variety for around here. Some of us have oddball builds, myself included. You're going to find mostly off road oriented stuff here but you're more than welcome to let us follow along and I implore you to. I would certainly like see it!

As far as blazer specific questions you can't beat this place. We'll be sure to help all we can. I would love to see a c4 suspension under a k5.

What??!! There are 4WD Blazers, too??!!...LOL...well, I'll be selling my 4WD 1997 Suburban K2500 diesel as part of my funding this project....
