What exactly might this mean on a 3/4 79 Suburban? Ad says 400 sbc/T400 trans and thats it. Lower gearing,D60ies maybe?? 205 TC? perhaps. Im on the hunt for a new project since it looks likes Jr`s getting my K5 in the next month or so.

I would like to know this also. Maybe just heavy rear springs, a hitch and harness, oil cooler, rear sway bar, etc?

i picked up a 79 2wd burban 1time.

factory loaded 454/400/12bolt and 10k badge on the back end of the gate. oh ya drove it home for 600 bucks.

4x4 3/4 ton would not be factory 60 front as that would be 1ton and no factory 1ton 4x4 burban.

and possible in the 78-79 range its a 203 full time tcase as thay were the last years run of them basicly.

I believe with the 13,000 lbs rating you will find it is 2wd. If i recall the 4wd were 10,000#. All the add says to me is a 400 cid engine and a turbo 400 transmission.

There's an '80 K20 Sub around here with the #13000 emblem on it. 400sb TH400/NP205 14BFF

Here is the link for mine.

There is a brochure and a pic of the emblem. Mine says 12,000 GCW. Its been converted to a dually so I cant tell you about what the springs were to begin with. It was a 400 with th400 though from what the previous owner says. We finally have most of the parts together to build it, but I think we are waiting for winter to start putting it together.
