I hate to sell it,but it needs to leave before winter sets in!..no room,and I'm out of work--need money more than 2 trucks right now!..
79 C10 "Bonanza" pickup--8' bed,"Fleetside"..color is "Desert Sand" (Light Yellow/beige)..sorry,no pictures--no digital camera!
Truck is in decent shape bodywise for its age.. very little rust--floors have been done over but had very little rot...it was originally a 250 six,but now has a 1986 305 from a G10 van in it...runs good,has the usual "chevy puff" when first started,but uses no oil between changes..has an edelbrock 600 cfm performer(hand choke!) on stock Q-jet intake ...motor has new timing chain,gears,and oil pan and oil pump..has excellent oil pressure,runs strong for a 305..new hoses and belts too..
It gets about 15 mpg....TH350 tranny,12 bolt axle--gear ratio unknown,but I'm guessing its 3.73's--truck is very peppy!..has 3/4 ton leafs in the rear...aluminum slotted unilug mag wheels,decent 235/15 tires.. Interior not bad,dash pad is pretty wasted,seats,carpets and door panels showing their age,but not too shabby.....
I'm asking $ 1650 for it...Its not a rotbox or a beater,but it has been used as a truck..not a show queen either,but I've had many guys say its not in bad shape for a 79...has 116,000 original miles!..
