79 carb, backside, what is port above the brake booster port?

On the back of my 79 carb, there is a port in the very top plate of the carb. it's in the center directly above the brake booster port. it's fairly small. any ideas ?

79 had hot air style choke. That would connect to a pipe that would lead down to the intake. If you look at the choke bowl you will notice 2 ports on it. That's part of it. Put a plug on it and the ports on the chokc bowl and buy a electric choke element and covert it if you don't have an intake that will work with the choke.
