79 chevy blazer. Portland OR $3500

It is nice but it still needs everything... Needs paint, carpet, dash, door panels, motor rebuild, trans(?), window motors, etc. It needs probably 5-7k to be restored. and i have about $14...

i really wish i had $3500 right now...

...but I have about $14 myself. :doah:

I hear ya man. Its hard enough keeping my 2 rigs on the road, let along reach some type of trail worthyness.

Nice clean rig tho man. too bad you can't put a car cover on it and save it for a rainy day...

You know, i have a cabin out in eastern oregon that has an empty garage where i could stuff it. Just let it be up there in the nice dry air, out of the rain and all that. And that is an option. Its just, if i do that, i still only have $14 bucks. Each of my other rigs need about 500 bucks a piece worth of stuff done to them. Not to mention i got bills to pay! Add to that, that a blazer is not where my true chevy soft spot is, and selling it turns into a better and better option. So, who knows. I have gotten a couple nibbles on it but no one has shown up to drive it. So, chances are, i will be loucky and be forced to keep it until i do actually have more the $14 dollars.

LOL, yea yea, we'll see.

Well, if things get a bit better for me here I might consider a trade plus cash for what I think you wanted from me, or one of my crew cabs.
I just need to get the extra cash first.

In truth, it would be cool if i could keep the thing another few years untill i have more money. In 3 years i will have the jetta paid off($320 a month) and in 3.5 years i will be "topped out" at work which will give me about $11hr more then im making now which works out to roughly an extra $1300 a month (bring home) more then im making now. So at that point, i could have that thing "restored" in about no time flat. I would basicaly be accruing the money at the rate that i could spend it! So, hey, if i luck out and still have it by then, all the better! But i know that when that time comes, if i dont have it, then i will actually be able to focus on my suburban. So i know i wont regret selling it. I have a couple pickup/burb builds planned and that, like i said, is really where my heart is over the blazers.

Man! Was just going threw my craigslist post pics! I REALLY need to go clean that thing all up, make it sparkle, and get some good effing pics! Not going to get any calls with an add like that... Subconscious maybe? Who knows!

Well I'm going to show the truck to someone here in a half hour. I'm skeptical as to his seriousness but well see.

Well he looked at it and seemed to like it alot. Said all the right things that made it sound like he was going to buy it. but still hasnt gotten back to me. So we'l see.
