I have a fuel problem, i just replaced the fuel pump and when i hit the gas it sucks a metric **** ton and then its real sluggish any ideas?
also im pretty sure my fuel gauge is broke just more S**T to replace

Alright. Break this down a bit. Be a bit more specific. Help us, help you.

What sucks? The pump sucking fuel? It's doing it's job. The carb sucking air? That sounds normal.

Is it dumping too much fuel into the carb? Carb loading up? Maybe the carb is due for a rebuild.

How's the fuel filter? Did you change that too?

What was the original cause to replace the fuel pump? Somebody told you to? Read it on the internets?

I'm not trying to sound like a smart ass but with a post like that you have to expect some ribbing. Seriously, tell us what's going on. Give us something more than "I replaced this and now it sucks".

well the previous owner replaced the fuel pump,
and i just replaced the fuel filter and it seems as
its sucking to much fuel and bogging down
