79 shortbox 3/4 ton suspension into K5

hey guys

my 14bolt ff is out of a shorty 79 and the dana 44 as well now will the 3/4 ton springs bolt into my 85 blazer and if not how far back does the hanger have to go back?? need info ASAP

no one knows ?? lol the tech article tells nothing of using 3/4 ton springs just swapping the axles

They should bolt right in. Measure from eye to eye of the 3/4 ton spring. Should be approx. 52". If they are put them in and go.

and if not, move the rear hangers back 4" and install em anyways. 56" spring swaps are pretty common.

umm...theres no such thing as a 3/4 ton shortbox...Someone swapped 3/4 ton axles into that short box, definetly no factory
