8.1 Swap?

Will an 8.1 from an 01 & up bolt to the TH400 that currently resides in my 89 TBI 350 Suburban?

Other than wiring, can anyone think of any issues such as size that might make this swap extremely difficult or impossible?

I can get a killer deal on an 8.1 Changeover but if the additional cost are too high, then I will let it go and save my money for a TPI454.

a shop by my house that regeared my 14 bolt was in the process of putting an 8.1 into a suburban. I have one in my 2500HD and it's a damn gas hog, but can pull houses off there foundation!
