I didn’t want to junk up the 8.1 swap thread with this question, and it is more of a curiosity. I tore down the 8.1 and in the pictures you can see the numbers on the pistons. All different, but the engine is solid, leaky, and all the bolts came out without a fight so someone might have been in it. I found 2, 7mm sockets in it. One in the oil fill tube at the intake, and one sitting on the water crossover.
Any ideas on the different piston numbers?
