I didn't want to add more to the 8.1 sticky, but I have found a couple 8.1 propane engines that are cheaper than the gassers. Other than fuel rails and injectors what needs to be swapped on these to run gas?

never had a propane setup 8.1 .
but what i have heard is injectors / fuel rail and pcm . then its back to gas motor .

Just figured that if you had gotten that engine with no heads running (on gas), then you've already answered the question.
oh ya that motor . it was just a long block nothing else on it .
funny we talk about it as i need to dig it out for the 02 3500-HD i have now with a bad 8.1 in it .
