8-6 lug adapter??

Are these a good idea?? I am trying not to have to but new wheels.

check out my post .. i just did it , wasnt to bad... just gotta find a machine shop that isnt gonna rip you off and if you run aluminum wheels you may have to modify them a bit dependiing on how think they are.

So the adapter wasnt something you bought, you had it machined??

well half and half... i bought the adaptors and hardware from ck5 member--tonyp. but then i had to have my old hubs machined down so the adaptors would fit.since the diameter of 8lug hubs is bigger than the 6 lug. /forums/images/graemlins/grind.gif

I got them too... there about as good as it gets for a adapter but its still a adapter... Im now thinking about later getting 3 peice 15x12 aluminum wheels, but they have been working great for about a year...

thats right, I shipped only one and came back to work and found the other one sitting right where I left it.... /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
