8-6 lug thingy\'s??

I want to run my 15" 6lug rims on my 8 lug axles cause i have 37" buckshots, and my uncle sold me about a thing that goes from 8-6 and is a kind of spacer thing. does n e one use these? they are about $50 each and they are gauranteed not to break. just wanted to know ur input. i dont have the money to buy new tires and rims.

<font color="blue">I really cannot see how this would be possible, the hub in the 14 bolt is larger than the wheel center in a 6 lug wheel, and almost as large as the lug pattern. It's just easier to get 15" 8 lug rims

Sounds like it moves the entire wheel outward a little bit. Sounds a lot like an adaptation to the rear tire spacer that duelies use in between the rear tires.

well, i want to get the 15" rims, but that requires grinding the rotors. and i heard that takes down on braking /forums/images/icons/crazy.gif

Grinding the calipers has no affect on braking. There are many people on here running 15's on 8 lug axles.

If what you say is true, I'd like to see some pics. I would be very interested in something like that, but every wheel spacer/adapter manufacturer that I have ever e-mailed said that they couldn't do it.

It will b somewhere after the weekend of august 8th. that is the next time i will see or get a chance to talk to my uncle. ill keep ya posted. btw, how much has to b grounded off??
