anybody ever run an eight inch 52 on the front ? i want to pull the 12 inch springs out of the front and move rear eight inch springs to the front. i think this will work because the eights will be pretty firm but not like a rock like the fronts . anybody ??? .

Do it! I've been wondering how such a setup would perform. What kind of springs are they?

more than likely im gonna go ahead and do it . its a 57 chevy stepside that ive pretty much restored ( to my taste that is ) its on a seventies chassis with a superlift 12 in kit . obviously this is not my trail rig so height is not an issue and i like the height its at now but the ride is horrible . the way im lookin at it why go buy some 4 or 6 inch 52s when i already have the eights ? i think the mushy feeling from 52s will be elimanated because of the 8 inch stiff springs hopfully this will work i guess only time will tell . ill get some pics up when i do it

ive read about someone on here doing it with 4s and 6s i dont remember who though . that would be a nice set up:D

TWISTEDJACK is his user name i believe. He won the rig of the month, it had some wicked flex, i believe he was running 4 inch bds 52's up front.
