i have a 6inch lift now...and wana put a 8 inch lift on for bigger tires...and im kinda on a budget....rite now my 6 inch lift is just springs in front and i have the front spring rear hangers rotated like in the write up....and i think there already 6-8 inches long but i dont remember....and now my question is if i put a 2 inch square tubiing across the front inbetweer frame and hangers and make the shackels 2 inches longer would that be tomuch a strain on the rear hangers? or should i jus fork over the cash for 8 inch springs?

Keep your springs.

Put an 1" ORD body lift on and an 1" ORD zero-rates under the leaf packs.

good call...i didnt even think of that...and the zero rates if i putem in the middle they wont move axle baack or fwd?

Yep then they act just like a "block"

you can use longer shackles but you only gain 1/2 of what you extend them so if you use a 2" longer shackle you would only gain 1"

and also the longer the shackle the more leverage you'll put on the bushings as well as affecting your pinion angle
