What degree shim will I need for 8" lift on a suburban with d60 front. I was looking at the in jkw offroad and wanted to get some cause the ones that came with the bds springs arent enough. Thanks

You may not really need a shim to piont the front diff pinion back up. The increased positive caster from lift springs, which causes the front diff pinion to piont downwards, is a good thing. The increase in positive caster helps trucks with bigger tires handle better. What I did on my truck was, instead of using a wedged shim to piont the diff pinion back upwards, I bought an offset U-joint for the front diff pinion, which can handle a maximum operating angle of up to 30-degrees (your operating angle will probably not even be close to that [mine wasn't]).

hmm... i never heard of that before, that is cool... i was wondering the same thing about shims, but now i'm just wondering where you picked up one of those offset pinion u-bolt kits?

Actually they are offset U-joints (not U-bolt). I bought mine from Tom Woods Custom Driveshaft. Here is the link to his companies web page http://www.4xshaft.com/index.html
