i just bought a 14 bolf ff and now need all the stuff to convert my 89 10 bolt front to 8 lug would that be the same as a d44 or not i have never done this before what all do i need?

and i also need a srw hub or drum? because one of my drums is broke are they all one piece i don't know

i think the other is ok and also i need spring perches and shock mounts mine have all been removed and e brake cables have been cut would the ones from my 10 bolt work
thanks

The 14FF Drum is not part of the bearing hub, it fits on the back side of the hub and the studs are then pressed in place to hold it together. Ebrake cables may work if you have the same style cable on both the 10 bolt and 14FF. There are two separate styles, bolt on (early) and clip on (later). Your rear 10 bolt uses the later clip on style.

Dana 44 8 lug outers should fit your 10 bolt. Inner bearing on 8 lug should measure 2" as should yours. Otherwise, I have the parts for sale.

Not a direct fit if it is pre '77, but any from '77 or later with the larger wheel bearings will work. The minimum you need are backing plates, rotors, & bearing hubs from a '77 or later D44 or 10 bolt front axle. The rest is the same as your 6 lug axle (spindles, axleshafts, brake calipers, locking hubs, etc).

They have different spindles and wheel bearings. They can be used if you change out the spindles, inner axleshafts, wheel bearings, lockouts, etc (basically everything from backing plates out).

Bearings being related to the bearing hub aside, this is based on conversions you have personally done or ?????

I have done these swaps many times and parted out hundreds of these trucks over the years.
