8 lug d44

What gear ratio are you looking for.....?

looking for 4.11s, I thought converting it might be more expensive than to just get a new one. Shaggy said his buddy was selling one for 100 but i missed out on that.

Bummer.....

I've got a fresh 8-Lug D44 that's coming out of my K5, but it's got 3.73s.....

Maybe next time. /forums/images/icons/crazy.gif

Greywolf,

Sorry...didn't mean to cause a false alarm.... /forums/images/icons/blush.gif

I know that 79Jimmy is a local guy (San Jose, CA) so that's why I thought I'd try to help him out. The axle is complete, and if I get rid of it, it would be to someone local to save shipping hassles....

Evan, you could get Greg's axle and then pick up that Powr-Lok from me, since the powr-lok is for the 4.10s. Just a thought, trying to hawk my junk /forums/images/icons/wink.gif ...

I have one with 4.10's, new brakes, new bearings, new u-joints, warn hubs, 4 inch lift pitman arm. $400. I can drop it off in Danville, I live there as well. Oh, i forgot, it has flattop knuckles.

Re: 8 lug d44 or conversion kit

Evan, I have the complete 8 lug conversion for you for 250.00. Back plates, spindles, hub/rotor assemblies with the rotors freshly machined.

Re: 8 lug d44 or conversion kit

I know a guy that's selling the 8-lug parts. I had to back out on the deal with him cuz I got in a small disagreement with a tree. He's got the hubs, spindles, backing plates, and warn lockouts. PM me for his e-mail address.
