I am selling my Dana 44 front end. The parts have about 10k miles on them since installation. During installiong it was sandblasted, primed, and painted. Then I installed all new ball joints, tie rod ends, seals, brake rotors, brake calipers, etc. New Warn premium hubs were also installed. It still has the factory 4.10 gears, open differential, and factory axles.

In addition I procured flat top knuckles, for the ORD high steer arm. Also an ORD HD front tie rod with heim joints. I am selling it complete wiith crossover all the way to the pitman arm (steering box not included).

It should work with 4 - 6 inches of lift. Also, I will be selling the 6" Tuff Country EZ Ride front springs seperately or included if you wish.

I am including pictures of the actual axle, but it does have a lot more road grime and dirt on it now (still no rust though). If you can't see the pictures e-mail me and I will send them to you.

[email protected]

Also, currently the axle is still in the truck in operation, I plan to remove it sometime in June. I am putting in a D60 with a locker.

Asking $350 OBO. I live near Waterford, MI

I don't have a pic of the hubs, but they are Warn premiums in great shape. I even substituted the little allen head bolts for stainless.

Pitman arm is included, braided brake lines are not included. Shocks have been changed to Rancho RS9000 adjustable, the shocks and leaf springs (with ORD shackles) are negotiable if you want them.

Thank You.

yeah, this is a local buy for sure. I'd take all the crossover stuff, don't need the axle. But really, it should be a good deal for a local guy. good price

Thanks for the comments. The funny thing is when I first put this axle in I was in Plano, TX. Also, I would like to try and sell this whole, but if that doesn't work then eventually I will part it out.

I am going to be taking it out from the truck around the weekend of June 26th.

I'd pay 400 for all the steering stuff along with the knuckles and spindles. Don't need the brakes, backing plates hubs or any of the rest of the axle. I have a 4.56 locked 10 bolt in need of ball joints and crossover steering.

Damm, that's a clean D44!!! It has a lot of good parts also. That's a good deal!

It's still for sale, if the whole axle isn't sold locally by the time I take it out (which got delayed a week or so), then I will part it out. This axle is straight. I took it to the alignment shop after I put it together and everything was right on and there are no shims or anything. Also, please keep in mind since those pictures I drove the thing in mud, dirt and sand, so it's more dirty now, but the axle still doesn't have any rust on it.

Hey Folkenheath, where did you buy that steering stabalizer? i need the same kind. thanks

I bought the stabilizer and the bracket for the DOM tie rod at ORD.

Dana 44 and front suspension parts

It hasn't sold so I am parting it out. Crossover parts are spoken for (from pitman arm to knuckles, including tie rod). If you need anything else let me know.

I have left the:

- housing
- 4.10 gears and open carrier
- 8 lug wheel hubs
- matching warn premium manual locking hubs (external style, with stainless smaller allen head bolts)
- axle shafts
- heavy duty(1/4" thick) brake backing plates with low mileage larger piston calipers and newer hardware.
- spindles

Also:

- 6" tuff country EZ-ride springs (stock front length)
- Rancho 9000 adjustable shocks (correct length for 6" lift, like new)
- ORD HD front shackles and full set of front greasable bolts.

Thank you.

Warn hubs $75. They were $230 new. (Warn #9072) In great shape, no corrosion. I did notice a little bit of the black paint on the inside part of the brass dial was flaking somewhat. I also saw a paint chip on the external steel housing that mounts behind the hub dial and face. But they are in great shape inside and out other than that. Just trying to be honest, I don't think you'll be dissapointed.

Axles, $20 (they need new u-joints, I didn't notice until I took them out but at least one of them I can feel a little slop in the needle bearings, I didn't feel the other one)

For shipping, the hubs only would probably be $10. The axles I will have to weigh them and get back to you tomorrow hopefully.

Thank you.
