8 lugs adaptor \\ spacer

Hi,
I'm looking for an adaptor \ spacer kit that will give me the possibility to add about an 1" space for my rims.

I'm going to install on my CUCV some hummer rims but when they installed on the front axle - they touching the steering link.

it has to be an 8lug to 8 adaptor in 1-2" wide.
does anyone knows where can I find it ?

ThanX

I don't believe that running a spacer on the front wheels is reccomended. Most people have the hummer rims recentered unless they are running dually hubs /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

Hi,
I'm checking currently with the Performance Wheels & Tire and it seems that there are no spacer to 1986 K25-30 with 8 lugs but there is a spacer for a 1996 k2500 and I believe that the pattern are the same (though im not sure regards the competability to the brakes etc.), and anyway, the truck is not my DD.

Re: 8 lugs adaptor \\ spacer

There is. You have to call 'em. I'm running a set of 1.5" spacers on my 14b f/f. They make them themselves, so they can build them to your specs. People run spacers up front all the time. Safety issues only arrise based on how large of a spacer you run and how it is mounted. The guys at Performance Wheel would probably be the best source on weather or not you should run spacers up front and if so what your size limitations should be. Give 'em a call. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

I´m running 1,5 inch spacers on all 4 wheels on my M1008 with Hummer rims and have no troubles with them.
